Due Diligence

Real estate due diligence is of great importance for the subsequent success of your investment.

The aim is to analyze risks in as much detail as possible, despite the often limited time frame in the acquisition process and to manage the persons or companies involved in the transaction process accordingly.

The basis of the analyses are the documents and real estate data provided by the seller. The results create transparency and show not only risks but also potentials of your planned real estate or corporate transactions (asset/share deal).

The due diligence of a real estate transaction is generally divided into legal, tax, technical and commercial fields of examination.

Together with our cooperation partners from the fields of law and taxation, we analyze the transaction object with regard to land register data, lease agreements as well as other contracts and corresponding rights and obligations.

In the area of commercial due diligence, we analyze current and future economic parameters and evaluate current and future expected rental income and value increases.

Our Architects and Real Estate Economists (EBS) manage technical issues such as the determination of maintenance backlogs or modernization requirements as well as any structural damage related to the building fabric and architecture.
